Seaside Derby Ends In 2-2 Draw

Brighton's unbeaten run continues after a 2-2 draw with ex-prem team Blackpool. Brighton took the lead in the 29th min after a fantastic cross by Craig Noone was headed into the back of the net by Craig Mackail-Smith. Albion scored again after the break. A Craig Noone corner was bundled over the Blackpool line by Ashley Barnes to double the Seagull's lead.

It all looked great as the game headed into the closing stages, but 2 goals from Kevin Phillips earned Blackpool one point.

Overall, Brighton probably deserved a win, but 10/12 points means that Brighton stay in 3rd place, one place and one point above rivals Crystal Palace.
