First Sunderland Now Newcastle!

Albion's recent cup sucess went on yesterday as the mighty Seagulls beat Premiership side Newcastle United at the AMEX. The goal came in the 76th min, when Will Buckley (Albion's new top scorer) ran half the pitch before crossing the ball. Luckily, the ball hit an unaware Williamson then, flew into the Newcastle net. Newcastle had many attacks but none came to anything thanks to great performances from Peter Brezovan, Adam El-Abd, Gordon Greer, Lewis Dunk and Liam Bridcutt.

Liam Bridcutt showed his Premiership standard skill with an almighty performance, ruling the centre midfield. Will Buckley also impressed with the performance of his career, giving both full backs loads to deal with.

Albion have been rewarded with an away trip to Anfield in three weeks time to play Liverpool.
