A Day To Forget...

Brighton yesterday beaten after a day to forget for referee Craig Pawson. Romain Vincelot was sent off for an off-the-ball incident in the 5th min. Then only 6 mins later, Ashley Barnes was sent of for a dangerous tackle, although the replay suggests that it was the other way round. Many other desicions went Burnley's way as well, Craig Noone was fouled in the area, but again Craig Pawson turned a blind eye. There were boos when, in the 32nd min, Burnley youngster Kieran Trippier fired a long shot to give the otherwise poor Burnley the lead. In the 2nd half, Brighton completely outplayed Burnley, despite their large numerical advantage. Macca Smith came the closest in the 90th min, but his effort was cleared off the line. Despite dodgy reffing, Brighton outplayed Burnley and were unlucky not to get anything ot of the game.
